There are many community service activities in TPA. Local posts get involved in their communities by helping the elderly get to doctor appointments, cleaning up local highways in Adopt a Highway Programs, sponsoring Little League teams and putting on travelers coffee break stops. The individual posts decide what they would like to do for their communities.

A national project under the Community Service Committee is a scholarship program for the deaf. This program is called The Scholarship Trust for the Deaf and Near Deaf. This is a special fund established by TPA in order to assist children and adults with hearing loss or difficulty.

What ever the activity, TPA members make a difference. Teaching safety in schools, giving a helping hand to the unfortunate or just cleaning up around town, TPA does its part.
